Visitor Events

Throughout the year, Manukau city is host to a number of unique visitor events:

Stoneleigh Sculpture in the Gardens Now becoming an annual event, the sculpture displays will be at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens from 7 November 2009 to 14 February 2010.

Tour de Ranges The SRAM Tour de Rangesis a celebration of the sport of cycling and will take place on Saturday, 23rd January 2010.  This event was created to attract all levels of cycling ability to some of the most remarkable roads in Auckland.

Splore Festival 2010 This biennial event takes place at the Tapapakanga Regional Park, 19 - 21 February 2010. More details here

Rugby World Cup 2011 Although three years away, this very special event is already attacting an enormous amount of interest.  Manukau City Council is working with key organisations throughout the Auckland region to help prepare for Rugby World Cup 2011.  More details here.
