Throughout the year, Manukau city is host to a number of unique visitor events:

Celebrate Matariki 2008 in Manukau Matariki, the Māori New Year, will be celebrated throughout June and July with events in Manukau City Council's libraries and arts centres.  For more details, of these events, click here.

Auckland Festival of Photography The Auckland Festival of Photography is a signature visual arts event that treasures a city abundant with great photographic talent. In 2008, it runs from 30 May to 22 June.  For details click here

The Original Art Show The Orginal Art Sale is one of the largest sales of art ever held in New Zealand, and is now back for a fourth year. At the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, Thursday through Sunday 15 - 17 June, 2008.

NBR New Zealand Opera As part of their New Zealand tour, NBR New Zealand Opera will perform Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, Monday 7 July 2008.
